I switched my reservations at AoA to CBR for free dining. We now have a pirates room and I'm having second thoughts. My 2 year old would love the nemo pool. Should I switch back? It will just be me him and my fiance, our 1st family trip

    Hi Tara,

How exciting to be planning your first family Disney vacation!

As nice as the Art of Animation pool is, it definitely isn't worth giving up Free Dining for it. You got an amazing deal with Free Dining and will be saving yourselves a bunch of money. The Pirate rooms at the Caribbean Beach Resort are very cool, but they are the furthest building away from the pool. Not to worry though, you can jump on the internal shuttle and get there quite easily. The pool is super cool and is pirate themed as well. Honestly, since your little guy is only 2, he won't really know what he's missing by not swimming in the Finding Nemo pool. I say pocket the money you are saving on Free Dining and save it towards your second trip when he gets a little older (and stay at Art of Animation then)!

Be sure to visit the Seas with Nemo and Friends in Epcot. Your little boy will love that attraction if he is a Nemo fan. There is an awesome aquarium at the end of the ride and I'll bet that he will have fun looking for the clown fish and turtles in the tanks. You can even buy him a little stuffed Nemo while you are there.

    Wishing you a wonderful vacation,
