Can we swim at the hotel before we check in to our hotel? We arrive at 1030am but check in is not til 3pm.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Samantha!

Hooray for your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation! My family and I just returned from an amazing week at Animal Kingdom Lodge and are just itching to get back for our next Disney trip! There is so much magic in store from the moment you arrive at your resort until it's time to wave goodbye and say "See ya' real soon!"

I'm happy to let you know that you're welcome to check into your Disney resort as soon as you arrive, however your resort room may not be quite ready at that point. But, once you're there, leave any bags with Bell Services and head off to enjoy the resort amenities like the pool and restaurants, or even hop on Disney's transportation to enjoy your first day at the parks if you'll be using park tickets that day. If you're taking Disney's Magical Express from the airport and utilizing the Disney Resort luggage tags for baggage transfer service, you'll want to be sure that you keep your swim suits and other must-have's in your day bags with you, as your luggage may not arrive until a bit later that day.

My family and I always like to take flights that have us arriving as early as possible our first day so that we can pack in as much Disney magic as possible. Occasionally, our room has already been ready for us, which is nice so we can settle in a bit. But, most of the time, we just get a text later letting us know when the room is ready, but by then, we're already off enjoying our resort and the parks!

Have so much fun planning and enjoy a really special trip, Samantha!
