    Staci Asked

Hi Susan! I saw a question you answered where you shared you took a 9-week infant to Disney. We are excited about our trip planned for November, but since starting our planning, we learned we are having baby #4 in September. Is it really doable?!? ;)

    Hi Staci,

Congratulations on baby number four! Although it may seem overwhelming to travel to the Walt Disney World with three children and an infant, I can assure you that it is "doable" and easily manageable. The key is to have a plan that allows for flexibility and plenty of downtime.

My advice is to sit down with your family and choose a few "must-do" Attractions each day but then just let the rest of the magic fall into place. Newborns are able to experience Attractions that are listed for Guests of any height. For a complete listing of Attractions available for infants, please visit the Disney Parks Blog. If there are Attractions that you would like to experience without your little one you can use Rider Switch. Rider Switch allows adult Guests to take turns waiting with little ones or Guests unable to ride an Attraction. I also suggest planning your Advanced Dining Reservations around the time your baby usually naps. This will allow you to enjoy your meal while the baby sleeps.

Be sure to use the Baby Care Centers in each of the Theme Parks. They offer private nursing areas, feeding areas, changing rooms, kitchens with microwaves, ovens, and sinks, and an area with TV's, couches, and chairs. Formula, juice, diapers, wipes, and over the counter medication is also available for purchase should you need them. There are also toys, books, and movies to entertain the other children while you are taking a break with your baby.

I hope these suggestions help in planning your visit. Please stop back by if you have any additional vacation planning questions!

    Magical Wishes,
    Susan
