We are surprising our 6 year old twins with WDW for their birthday 1/27-1/30. I have a challenge, one's a boy the other a girl. We are staying at the AKL. Can you give me suggestions to make our lodging and their b-day as special as possible.

    Hi Harva!
I'm so excited for you and your twins! There are two things that come to mind when celebrating birthdays at Disney: a character dining experience and the special birthday surprises that Disney's Florist can create for your kids. For dining, you could do one character dining for both of them, or have two of them with each of their interests in mind. Chef Mickey's is an excellent character dining experience that they could both enjoy with Mickey and his pals. If your daughter loves princesses, you could dine at Cinderella's Royal Table where she can feel like a princess and for him you could also do Mickey's Backyard BBQ. There are so many special Character Dining Experiences at Disney, you have plenty to choose from! Be sure to check out the Disney Florists website, which has many birthday surprises at every price range. If you can splurge a little, Mickey and Pals Big Birthday Wish will definitely going to make their 6th birthday one to remember! Oh! and as my fellow panelist Diane L. would say, "don't forget the buttons". When you arrive, ask for the special buttons that say it's their birthday which will make the birthday twins feel special, and the best thing is that they're free! Have a Magical Birthday trip to Disney!
