I am surprising my kids with their first Disney trip ever next May. They are all teenagers, but any tips, thoughts, helpful things would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Anna,

Your teenagers' first magical Disney vacation will be here before you know it! How very exciting!

As the mom of a tween and an older teen, I can say there are some truly magical adventures waiting to thrill your teenagers at the 4 Disney Theme Parks and 2 Disney Water Parks. Planning Big Fun for Big Kids is completely seamless, especially when I get mine involved in the process. Below are some attractions and experiences that my children have enjoyed throughout the yEARS.

Select FastPass+ ahead of time for Avatar Flight of Passage at Pandora – The World of Avatar. Book one of the Special Events & Tours such as the Wild Africa Trek, which will take your family on a 3-hour safari expedition teaming with exotic wildlife. For Star Wars fans, the Star Wars Launch Bay at Disney's Hollywood Studios is THE ideal place to meet Chewbacca and encounter Kylo Ren. The Surfing Programs at Typhoon Lagoon will become instant favorites with your teens too.

There are some unique Disney restaurants your teens might enjoy. I highly recommend The BOATHOUSE®: Great Food, Waterfront Dining, Dream Boats™ at Disney Springs. My kids were in absolute AWE of the S'mores Baked Alaska (Serves Four).

Wishing your family a most unforgettable visit to the place where The Magic is Endless!
