Surprising the kids with a Disney trip for Christmas!! We are staying off site and will arrive Dec 24th and stay until Dec28th. My children are 7 and 10. I have been looking at parks, rides, events, etc . But I am getting overwhelmed!! HELP!!

    Hi Tera,

Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel. WDW with Christmas lights is something that everyone should be able to see ate least once in a life time. Decorations are breathtaking, although it increases the number of guests considerably. You should have everything planned ahead because it’s going to be crowded at this period. Schedule all your FastPass+ with 30 days in advance and make your dinning reservations. To enjoy better the day and the attractions during this busy time, I recommend that you and your family arrive very early in the morning, ride all the major attractions, than proceed to the minor ones. Stop for lunch early, around 11:00 a.m. or after 2:00 p.m. same thing at dinnertime, to avoid giant lines at the restaurants. If you could stay at the parks until the closing time, is going to be awesome to ride the good attractions again. At this period of the year, anything you can see/experience is going to be great. Watch the parades and all the fireworks spectacles. Visit some resorts to see the Christmas decorations it’s a nice thing to do with kids when you want to avoid the crowds. You should read some information at many sites such as Touring Plans among others, to know what to expect during the holidays. Watch some videos at YouTube too. At your cell, use the My Disney Experience app. All maps, character greetings locations and much more is explained in this app. Crate your account and start to familiarized yourself with it. Consider purchasing a Memory Maker, because you will want all the photos of this trip.

    Have fun at WDW!
