We would like to do a surprise gender reveal with possibly Princess Tiana or Mickey and Minnie? We are coming for a few days at the end of June and woolenlove to do it then! What is the best advise/steps we should take to make this special?

Congratulations Ginger!!!! What a wonderful time - to be expecting a little Minnie or Mickey Mouse AND to reveal the gender at the parks - I am squealing with delight for all the incredible Magic you have in store!

The possibilities are endless for a gender reveal at Walt Disney World, and I think a Character Meet-and-Greet is an excellent place for the surprise! While you are waiting for Mickey and Minnie (I would suggest Town Square Theater as they are decked out in their celebration finery and the pictures will be so cute!), talk with a Cast Member to decide how you want to do it. Make sure to bring a present (maybe a pink or blue onesie?) that is large enough for the Disney PhotoPass Photographer to be able to capture the gender as well as the magical moment.

A reveal with Princess Tiana is not complete without her famous beignets. Pick them up at Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory before heading into Magic Kingdom Park. Hand the Cast Member an envelope with the gender inside (don’t peek!), and ask them to include the Raspberry Dipping Sauce if it’s a girl or the Caramel if it’s a boy. Then you can open up the box with her at Princess Fairytale Hall! Let the Cast Member at the attraction in on your plans, and once again, you will have a photographer to capture the sweet surprise!

Ginger, there are so many fun options! I know you will pick the one that is practically perfect for you in every way — wishing you a pixie-dusted reveal!
