We're going to surprise our 2 boys with a 1-day trip to WDW on 12/26. They are huge fans of Toy Story & Cars so I was thinking HWS would be great, but I also want them to see WDW. Would you suggest the Park Hopper or stick to 1park on this busy day?

    Carol,

December 26th, as you indicated, is a really busy day at all the parks. I think that Park Hopping can be a bit of a risk, as the parks can actually reach capacity, meaning you could get all the way over to another park and then not be able to actually get in. Worse yet, you might even not be able to get back in to your original park of the day if you headed back.

Also, on such busy days, you are going to have to spend more time in attraction lines than you would have at a lighter time of the year. That is just a fact of life. So you aren't going to be able to get as many attractions in as you might have otherwise done.

I would strongly suggest you pick one park and stick to it. If they are Cars and Toy Story fans, there is no doubt that Hollywood Studios is a great choice. I would save your money, go to just that one park, and really enjoy that park for all the great sights, sounds, and activities.

    Have a magical vacation!
