    Cattis Asked

Hello supermoms and dads. Here comes another question from me.. We are staying at SS and we want to tru Qs at other resorts. Isit difficult to travel to another resort and is there any resorts that it is easier and faster to go to than others?? Thanks :-)

    Hi Cattis,

Visiting other resorts is a favorite of mine -- I really think they are often an attraction in and of themselves.  To visit the resorts, I'd use any of the parks as your transportation hub.  For example, if you go to Disney's Animal Kingdom from your resort, you can easily transfer to any of the resort buses -- but the closest to that park is the Animal Kingdom Lodge where Mara serves some tasty offerings (zebra domes!!!).

From Epcot (especially from the International Gateway at the World Showcase), you have easy access to the Beach/Yacht Club, Boardwalk, and Swan/Dolphin.  Likewise, Disney's Hollywood Studios is also close to these resorts.

At the Magic Kingdom, you are a quick monorail ride to the Contemporary, Polynesian, and Grand Floridian.  The Wilderness Lodge is also just a short boat ride away.

We often make our plans for the day by beginning at one park then we go to a nearby resort for lunch/dinner.  Once finished, we take a bus from that resort to another park for the afternoon/evening then we can take our own resort bus home that night (you do need the park hopper option on your tickets to do that, however).

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel; please let us know if you have another question.
