Kids on attraction

Any suggestions on riding with two kids if seating cannot accommodate us all at once?

    Hey there, Karen,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  We're so glad you stopped by with your question.

As a mom of four children which includes a set of twin boys,  I have often found myself riding alone with just two of my kiddos. With varying ages and interests,  my husband and I often use the "divide and conquer" strategy when visiting with our four Mouseketeers.  Many of the thrill attractions feature ride vehicles in which riders sit side by side. When riding thrill attractions with this configuration,  I always let my twins sit together, and I sit in the ride vehicle just behind them. When my twins were smaller,  we usually found that the three of us could sit together on most of the slower attractions. If you find there is an attraction in which you must sit in an entirely separate ride vehicle from each other,  I recommend riding alone just ahead of them, so that you will be waiting for your kids at the exit of the attraction. We have never encountered any issues or felt it to be unsafe to have our youngest two ride together. In fact, even when they were much younger, my twins almost always chose to sit together on rides, which left my husband and I riding together.

Be sure to take advantage of Disney FastPass+ service. You will love being able to decrease your wait for many of the most popular attractions.

I hope this information eases your mind and is helpful with your vacation planning.  Let us know if you have any additional questions. We would love to assist you further in planning a magical trip, Karen!

    Happy Planning,
