What would be your suggestions for places to eat on Easter Sunday (2016)? There will be 8 of us, 5 adults and 3 children under 5. Are there any special buffets that would be fun for the kids?

Hello Lonnie!  Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

If it were me, I'd look no further than eating Easter dinner at 'Ohana - which happens to be my favorite restaurant.  It's a great place to dine for adults and kids alike.  The meal is served all-you-care-to-enjoy brought right to your table.  Bread and salad to start, chicken wings and pork dumplings next and then chicken, steak and shrimp skewers, which are cooked right in the middle of the restaurant on a wood fire grill, with sides like Asian noodles and veggies.  This meal is top notch.  There is also dining room entertainment for the children ... think coconut races, hula dancing and the limbo.  It's so much fun, my daughter absolutely loves it.  Something special I like to do is to try and make a reservation one hour before the nighttime fireworks at Magic Kingdom starts.  Then when I check in to the restaurant I request a window table if at all possible.  That way when we are finishing up our meal with the best bananas foster bread pudding, we have a perfect view of the firework display.  The restaurant even dims the lights and pipes in music from the show.  It's my favorite way to end a day at Walt Disney World and I can't think of anything better for your Easter dinner.

I hope this gives you an idea about where to dine.  If you have any other questions, please come back and ask.  Happy planning!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
