What are your suggestions for the best place to stay (budget-minded) for a family of five...kids are older - ages 17, 14 and 11 and I don't think they'd be comfortable sleeping on a chair or sofa like some of the rooms offer.

    Hi, E!

You've got several choices when booking a stay for a family of 5 at Walt Disney World!

For the most budget-friendly option, take a look at a Family Suite at Disney's All-Star Music Resort. These Suites feature a queen bed, a twin-size sleeper chair (my almost 5' tall 11-year-old always sleeps in these and is very comfortable) a double-size sleeper sofa AND a twin-size sleeper ottoman.  The addition of a kitchenette really provides Guests with homey comforts, too.

Another Value Resort, Disney's Art of Animation Resort, also includes Family Suites that sleep 6, but the beauty of these Suites is that they also come equipped with a second full bathroom. THAT is something your family of 5 could surely appreciate.

You could also try a Suite in a Moderate such as Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. There, you'll find a Junior Suite that sleeps 6, including a bedroom with 2 queen beds as well as a queen-size sleeper sofa. This is a great resort with a fantastic pool that includes a 123-foot-long waterslide that your kids will love.

Depending on the time of year, you might even find a special offer which would enable you to book a 1-bedroom Villa a Disney's Old Key West Resort or another Disney Vacation Club Resort. 1, 2 and 3-bedroom villas come with full kitchens which helps keep your dining expenses lower, too. We ship items down to ourselves to help keep costs down while vacationing. Plus, these villas also come with full-sized washers and dryers; this allows us to never pay an airline to check a bag as we simply pack a few outfits in a carry-on and wash 2 loads of laundry per night.

Hope this is a good place to start, E! Be sure to send more questions as you think of them; I'd love to help you find the perfect WDW resort for your family of five!
