Moms, What suggestions do you have for activities on a quick solo trip over Mothers Day Weekend? Thanks!

    Hi Rochelle,

Heading to Walt Disney World solo can be a really good time. It is of course wonderful to travel with a group; however, if it is just you, then you get to do what only you want! My first thought is that you should do just what you want to - eat where you want to eat, go to the parks that you want to go to, and ride the attractions that you love. That said, here are some thoughts for what I would do if I had a weekend by myself at Walt Disney World.

I would head first to a spa! There is a Senses Spa at Disney Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa and another Senses Spa at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Whether for a quick manicure, or spending the whole day with a package including a massage, I find these locations to be a real treat and way to pamper myself. You can make reservations at these locations by calling 407-WDW-SPAS (407-939-7727).

I would also probably partake in one of Walt Disney World's tours. These tours offer in-depth information and unique activities for parts of Walt Disney World. If you are feeling active, try the Wild Africa Trek, on which you cross a rope bridge and get to dine in a unique location at Kilimanjaro Safaris at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park. I also enjoyed World Showcase: DestiNations Discovered at Epcot. On this tour, I learned in-depth about some of the pavilions at World Showcase. I find that on these kinds of tours, there is a lot of conversation with cast members and other guests alike as we share a unique experience at Walt Disney World. On a solo trip, this is nice because it provides a natural reason to talk with others.

Please do let us know if you have any other questions, Rochelle!
