Suggestion / tips for eating at Biergarten for candlelight processional with two adults and a 4 month old.

    Hi Liz,

We actually ate at Biergarten Restaurant with our little guy when he was 5 1/2 months old, so I’ve definitely got some tips for you! First, and this applies for all Walt Disney World Resort restaurants, the high chairs that are available are much too big for your little one. What I would suggest instead would be to bring your own portable high chair, one that clips to a chair or even the table. We had one with us and it was an absolute life saver as our baby wasn’t sitting up independently yet.

As for tips regarding Biergarten Restaurant itself, remember that you’ll likely be sitting at a table with other Guests as most of the tables in the restaurant seat 8 Guests. I would recommend asking for a table that is further away from the speakers and the hustle and bustle of the dance floor in order to protect your baby’s sensitive ears.

Finally, if your little one is asleep when you check in for your meal, you might want to check whether they’ll allow you to bring your stroller into the restaurant. If it’s not possible, then see whether you can bring your baby inside in a carrier or in their “bucket” (i.e. car seat). I used my carrier extensively while walking around the Theme Parks with my little guy - I found it even more practical than a stroller on most days! I also highly recommend having your baby in a carrier during the Candlelight Processional as strollers aren't allowed inside the theatre.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions about visiting with an infant. I just love helping babies and their parents experience Walt Disney World Resort together!

    Have a Magical Day,
