How would you suggest making the most out of a character meet and greet? I'd love to make the interaction memorable for my daughter!

    Hi Kasey!

I'm smiling from ear to ear thinking of the amazing time your family is going to have as you watch the Magic of Disney come to life through the eyes of your daughter. My son just turned three, and we've spent whole days just meeting characters. My biggest tip as a mom is to purchase Memory Maker. I brought my big camera the first few visits thinking 'I'll capture the same memories that Disney's PhotoPass Photographers get.' But oh Kasey, I cannot tell you how much fun it was to be present in the moments of watching my tiny son toddle to Mickey Mouse or fawn over princesses and for once not have to worry about or be more focused on taking the photos of those events.

Other Character Meet & Greet Tips:

~Together watch online videos of other guests meeting characters. My son always does great with Mickey and his pals, but he threw a fit because Tinker Bell was "mommy size" and not inches tall like she is on TV.

~Go deep into details. Have your daughter ask Belle what book she's currently reading. Ask Ariel to make fish faces. Bring a frying pan for Rapunzel to sign.

~Dress as all the characters. Bringing multiple princess gowns might not be doable, but with some careful planning you can pack a few spare shirts or bottoms in your park bag to DisneyBound as many characters per day. For my son I bought one pair of yellow shoes that went with red shorts and a black shirt to look like Mickey, gray shorts and a blue shirt to copy Donald Duck, and yellow pants with a red shirt to doppelgäng Winnie The Pooh.

I hope this helped, Kasey, and We'll See You Real Soon!
    ~Kristen
