hello where would you suggest to eat for lunch or Dinner in one of theme parks with MAIN characters ( i.e clubhouse characters). All breakfast options are booked. thanks

Hello Katie! I'm so happy that you are making reservations for a Character Dining Experience. We usually do a Character meal for every night of our trip because we love them so much. If you are wanting to see the Fab Five (Mickey, Donald, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto) I suggest Tusker House or Chef Mickey's. My son loves Chef Mickey's because the atmosphere is so energetic and fun and also the buffet is great for picky eaters. Chef Mickey's is located at Disney's Contemporary Resort which is just a monorail ride away, or a 7 minute walk from the Magic Kingdom.

We also enjoy Tusker House which has the Fab Five dressed in safari outfits. This restaurant is located in Africa at Disney's Animal Kingdom, and features an African inspired buffet. I can sometimes find it hard to get my son to eat the food here as he does not have and adventurous palate, but the buffet does have typical kid foods like mashed potatoes, peanut butter & jelly, cold meats and cheeses, macaroni & cheese, corn dog nuggets as well as cookies and brownies for dessert.

If you are interested in looking at reviews and pictures of the restaurants, I suggest going to www.disneyfoodblog.com and checking out all of the reviews. I find that I can make a restaurant choice much easier if I know what kind of food is served and what kind of experience we will have. Just try not to get hungry while looking at all of the pictures!

If you need anything else please don't hesitate to ask. Have a magical day!
