Hi there, I suffer from extreme generalized/social anxiety. I have cancelled numerous trips because of this. I finally have one booked/paid for 1/24-1/27 for my kids ages 6-16. Any suggestions? I don't see any in guest services section.

    Hello Chantel!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I hope you are having a magical week! I’m so glad you have finally booked a visit to Disneyland Resort! It’s an amazing accomplishment! I have three boys with the same age range as your kids and just know you and your family will have a great time.

Once you arrive at Disneyland Resort, inside of both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure is a Guest Services location. I would go in there and talk to a cast member about your condition and they will see if there are any services they can provide you such as the Disability Access Service Card. It's not a guarantee that they will be able to make every accommodation you need, but they will definitely chat with you and see what they can help with.

The cast members are trained to give great information and can provide information and ideas on what accommodations you may need. Different attractions have different queues so while one may be fine for you to wait in, another might not work out as well.

The Disability Access Service Card can allow you to get a return time for an attraction so you can rest or walk around and visit gift shops or find a quiet place to sit until the time stated. You then go to the FASTPASS entrance and show them your ticket that has the return time programmed on it. You don’t have to use it for all rides, just those that might be difficult with standing for long periods of time.

I hope this helps and please let me know if you need anything else as you plan your visit!

    See you real soon!
