I am struggling to find a resort that will interest everyone in the family when we come on our first trip ever for all of us, two adults and three children (3,11,13). I want everyone to have a good time and have things to do for the much needed downtime.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Shannon!

It gives me great pleasure to help you choose the perfect "castle" for your family's magical first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! You will be able to enjoy the many benefits of staying at any of the fabulous Disney Resort hotels.

Your family has several options in Rooms for 5 Guests or More, particularly at Deluxe Villa Resort hotels which offer many of the comforts of home.

In the Value Resort hotel category, I would highly recommend the Family Suites at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. These whimsical accommodations can comfortably sleep up to 6 Guests.

In the Moderate Resort hotel category you might appreciate the spaciousness of The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort which come complete with a fully equipped kitchen, private patio with BBQ and picnic table.

The Deluxe Resort hotels in the Epcot Area are simply fabulous and provide easy access to two theme parks: Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios. My family's favorites are Disney's Yacht Club Resort and Disney's Beach Club Resort. These two hotels share a splash-tastic pool complex like no other; namely, Stormalong Bay!

The Deluxe Resort hotels on the Resort Monorail line provide easy access to Magic Kingdom Park. Each offers its own undeniably unique charm. That being said, my most favorite is Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa which is inspired by Victorian seaside resorts of yesteryear.

I hope this information will help you reach a decision, Shannon. Please come back soon! We'd love to help you plan a "practically perfect in every way" first Disney vacation!
