are there strollers available for rental or should i bring my own?

    Hello Shatea,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  As a mom of 3 boys who have been visiting Walt Disney World since they were just babies, I fully understand the importance of having a stroller for a day of fun in the parks.  Luckily, you have a few great options, so it's just a matter of deciding which one is right for your family.

Single and double strollers are available for rent at a number of locations throughout Walt Disney World, including at all 4 theme parks and both water parks.  Downtown Disney also has single strollers, but not double, available for rent.  However, the design of these strollers does not allow them to fold flat, so if you think your child will be napping in the stroller, it might not be the best option.  You should also keep in mind that the strollers must be returned before leaving the parks, so you wouldn't have it at the bus stops or your hotel.

If you'd rather have a stroller available for the full length of your stay, I'd recommend renting a stroller from one of Disney's Featured Providers.  These are private rental companies that can deliver a stroller directly to your Disney Resort hotel, so it is waiting for you when you check in, and then pick it up again at the end of your stay.  I've used a couple of those companies myself and was very happy with both the strollers and the service.

Of course, you are always welcome to bring your own stroller with you, so if you have one you like and are willing to travel with it, you're welcome to do so.

You can find out more information, including current rental rates and a list of Disney's Featured Providers, on the Stroller Rentals page of the website.

Wishing you a magical vacation, Shatea!  Please write back if I can help answer any other questions as you make your plans.
