How does stroller parking work? Are there locks provided for safety? Can I buy a padlock? What if I wanted to padlock my belongings to the stroller? Also, recommended activities for a toddler at Disney World parks?

    Hi, there!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Karli. I'm so glad you stopped by!

As a mom of three, a stroller is an absolute must-have when we're at the Walt Disney World Resort. Exploring the theme parks requires a lot of walking, and those little legs tire quickly! Throughout the theme parks, you'll see many designated stroller parking areas. These designated areas are always conveniently located and are often between attractions so that you can experience multiple rides or shows without needing to grab your stroller after each one. In order to maximize space, the Cast Member assigned to a particular stroller parking area will often rearrange strollers so that more can be accommodated. For that reason, you may not have a lock on the stroller wheels. If you wish to lock your belongings, that's fine as long as the lock does not prevent the stroller from being easily shifted by the attending Cast Member. I've never locked anything on my double stroller, and my belongings have always been kept perfectly safe! That said, be sure to take anything valuable out of the stroller before leaving it in the designated stroller parking areas.

Prior to your visit, double-check that your stroller meets the new sizing guidelines. To enter the theme parks, strollers must be no larger than 31" wide and 52" long

Watching your little one experience the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort is going to just melt your heart! As toddlers, my kids have most loved attractions with gentle, easy tracks like Peter Pan's Flight and The Seas with Nemo & Friends. They've also loved boat ride attractions like "it's a small world" and Frozen Ever After. As a mom, I especially appreciate Dumbo the Flying Elephant and The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh because these attractions feature interactive queue areas! Many shows like the Disney Junior Dance Party! and Festival of the Lion King offer the perfect opportunity for your toddler to move and groove with beloved Disney Characters. Speaking of Characters, I very much recommend booking a few Character Dining Experiences during your stay. Some of my family's favorites include Chef Mickey's, The Crystal Palace, and Hollywood & Vine.

You may find the Preschool Parents' Guide helpful as you plan your vacation. Most of the tips are perfectly relevant for toddlers!

Thanks for stopping by, Karli. Please let me know if you have any other questions!
