Can we take a stroller on the Ferrytale Fireworks Dessert Cruise? We have a 2 1/2 yr old and 5 yr old and with flying in that day, they might get sleepy before it is done and having the stroller would be nice for them.

    Hi Cheryl,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. Can you believe you will be arriving at Walt Disney World in only a few sleeps?! I just got back from an amazing week there, and I can tell you that you are going have the best time enjoying all the holiday magic in the parks and resorts!

I just love the idea of attending Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise on your arrival night. What a spectacular way to start your vacation! I reached out to a Cast Member about whether strollers are permitted onboard during this special event, and was told that only strollers that have been designated for use as wheelchairs may be brought onboard the dessert cruise.

Cheryl, my advice is to spend some quiet time in your resort room or a quiet corner of your resort (Cast Members know all the secrets about good napping spots around the parks and resorts) before heading to the cruise. I know your little ones will be captivated by the fireworks and some of the special onboard magic for the cruise, and having well-rested Mouseketeers (and parents!) is one of my favorite Walt Disney World keys to success.

One more tip: bring sweatshirts with you. We had very warm weather on our November visit, but nights – especially on the water – were cool. I want you to be comfortable so you can enjoy the delicious drinks and treats before snuggling up to enjoy the breathtaking show in the sky.

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
