    Dawn from PA Asked

We are stopping at Disney World on our way home in Sept. Just two nights in resort and one day in MK. If you had one day in Magic Kingdom on a little princess's birthday what would you do? Thanks

Hi, Dawn! Little girls dream of so many things that could make their birthday the best day ever. Magic Kingdom is the perfect place to spend this day, as it really is the place where dreams come true! I just arrived home yesterday from Walt Disney World Resort with my little princess, where we did exactly what you are planning - a magical birthday filled with everything a six-year-old princess's heart desires.

I think the key to making this her magical day is to understand what she likes to do. Is it her dream to visit her favorite Disney friends? Would she like to be transformed into a real princess at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique? Or is she maybe happiest on the wildest ride in the West? Be sure to mark your calendar for 60-days in advance of your check-in day so that you can make FastPass+ selections for her most favorite attractions, character greetings, parades or even Wishes Nighttime Spectacular. I scheduled one for my daughter at Space Mountain, as she had finally grown tall enough to ride it for the first time. She let me quickly know how excited she was to zip along through Space like the big kids. Holding a FastPass+ for this attraction made it even more magical, since we did not have to wait in an hour-long queue!

A birthday celebration fit for a special princess can be made even more wonderful with a grand meal. Cinderella's Royal Table and Be Our Guest Restaurant are two great places to celebrate inside Magic Kingdom. We have had enchanted birthday celebrations at these restaurants, as well as at Cinderella's Happily Ever After Dinner at 1900 Park Fare in Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, which is just a quick boat or monorail ride away from Magic Kingdom.

No matter how you plan to celebrate your princess that day, I am sure it will be a memorable one. Be sure to pick up a Happy Birthday button for your little princess to wear during her big day! Cast Members love to help make celebrations even more magical.
