    Tammy from NY Asked

My stepchildren live in Florida with their mom and their father and I are taking them to Disney. Is she able to purchase their tickets ahead of time with the Florida discount and we then link them to our reservation?

    Hi Tammy,

It sounds like your family has a wonderful upcoming Disney vacation coming up! By all means, if your stepchildren reside in Florida with their mother, you will definitely be able to take advantage of the discounted rates for Florida residents on Walt Disney World Theme Park Tickets. As Disney says, it pays to live close to the Magic, so be sure to take full advantage of any discounts your children may be eligible to receive.

While proof of a Florida residential address is required for all adult ticket purchases, it is not required when purchasing children's tickets. As soon as your tickets are purchased, you will be able to link the tickets to your stepchildren's My Disney Experience accounts.

Don't forget to purchase your tickets well in advance of your trip so that you can make your FastPass+ selections at your applicable booking window. If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, FastPass+ selections for your entire length of stay (up to 10 consecutive days) can be made starting 60 days in advance of your Resort hotel check in date. Otherwise, your FastPass+ selections can be made 30 days in advance.

Tammy, I hope you, your spouse, and your stepchildren have a wonderful upcoming Walt Disney World vacation, taking home plenty of magical memories to last a lifetime!

If there is anything else we can do to assist with your planning, please let us know. We are here to help and want you to have the best possible Disney vacation.

    Magically Yours,

    Trish
