I am staying at the Yacht club in a few weeks. I have three children ages 10, 9 and 5. I am concerned the room may be too small for us. Are the rooms at the gRand floridian larger?

The standard guest rooms at the Grand Floridian are approximately 400 square feet, while the standard rooms at the Yacht Club are approximately 380 square feet -- not an appreciable difference in my opinion.I have stayed with my family (kids ages 12, 9, and 9) at both the Grand Floridian and the Beach Club in recent months. (Beach Club rooms are the same as the Yacht Club.) My children very much prefer the amenities at the Yacht and Beach Club. The pool at Y&B is far superior to those at the Floridian. They like having easy access to two theme parks rather than just one. They like the multitude of nearby dining choices in the Epcot resorts area. And they like walking on the Boardwalk in the evening. For 20 square feet, I'd stick with the Yacht Club.
