We will be staying at Wyndham Buena Vista Disney Springs Hotel. We are aware of the bus to the theme parks but if we want to explore or eat at a resort restaurant, will we be required to pay for parking or there a way of taking buses or boats?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jill! I love all the details you’re after as you plan for yoru Walt Disney World Resort vacation. The addition of all the Disney Springs Resort perks like transportation, Extra Magic Hours and 60 day FastPass+ reservations has been just magical!

If you’d like to eat at a Walt Disney World Resort restaurant (be sure to double check if you need reservations; many eateries require them) you’ll have three hours complimentary parking and you will most likely need to show a dining reservation number to the parking attendant. You may also take a combination of buses to the Resort, if that suits you. Since your Disney Springs Hotel offers shuttle service, you will be able to take your hotel bus to a park, and then transfer to your chosen Disney Resort for lunch or dinner. Make sure that you pay attention to bus times and compare them with your eating schedule (you can also check with your Front Desk staff). There is a chance you will need to Lyft if you do not have a car to park at the Resort.

I highly recommend 1900 Park Fare at Disney’s Grand Floridian and Spa, if only for the butternut squash ravioli and then the ability to Resort hop around the Monorail Line. Stop off next at Disney’s Polynesian Village for a Dole Whip dessert! If I can help you plan any other aspect of your vacation, please let me know. I’m hEAR for you! ~ Lindsey P.
