We are staying at WL Feb 3- 11 any suggestions on what type of room to request? Thanks!

    Hi there, Stephanie!

There are a couple of choices at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, most of which are contingent on your travel budget.

Think of them as divided into three groups: proximity to conveniences, view, and "regular."

Regular, or standard, rooms, are typically located along one of the many long hallways lading away from the main building. Generally, these feature a view of the woods; occasionally, you'll get a partial view of the pool.

If you'd like, you can upgrade to a room with a view of Magic Kingdom. These will allow a decent view of the fireworks at night, and a daytime view of the Castle.

Other views include the courtyard, directly overlooking the pool. While the views themselves of the waterfalls and geysers are lovely, if you are sensitive to noise, you might want to consider a different room. Music and sounds from the pool area can be easy to hear in the courtyard rooms.

Finally, you can request a room in the main building. Again, noise can be something of a factor; the huge open lobby contains a noisy restaurant (Whispering Canyon Cafe) and general happy Guest noise.

There are other permutations, too: two beds or one? Bunk beds and a standard?

One way to narrow down is to check out Guest reviews and opinions. Here is a comprehensive thread full of opinions and reviews on a popular fan site: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1941097

    Have a wonderful stay!

    See you later, celebrator,
