We are staying at Wilderness Lodge. There are 10 of us -- 4 families. We all have the meal plan. When we go to dinner, gratuity and alcoholic beverages are not included. Will they all be on one check or will it be separated by family?

    Hi, Maria!

Thanks so much for sending your question to Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Okay, you are in for such a treat when your party of 10 stays at Disney's Wilderness Lodge! This is such a special resort, there are folks who visit Walt Disney World often, but would not consider staying anywhere else. Seriously, this place is that special.

Your Disney Dining Plan entitlements will be linked to your My Disney Experience account, which is also associated with your room reservation. If you have 4 different hotel reservations, each family's total # of entitlements will be on their accounts upon check-in.

At dinner, I suggest asking for separate checks. This will make it less complicated when trying to determine who ordered a second glass of Merlot and how each family would like to pay for gratuities. At that point, each family can also pay for the balance of their meal in any method that's accepted--charged to your room, paid by cash, using a credit card or a Disney Gift Card. What an easy-peasy way to enjoy dining together as one large group!

Of course, should you want everything to be on one check, that can certainly be done as well.

Send more questions as you plan your awesome trip to WDW, Maria! We love to help!
