I am staying at the Wilderness Lodge in October. My parents are coming down for a few days during our stay but staying off property. Are they allowed to come to our resort to visit and possibly watch our 1YO in our room?

    Hi there Angela,

Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort is such a special property and the architecture and landscaping is over the top.  It has to definitely fall within my top 3 Walt Disney World Resort Hotels.  Even though this resort is so conveniently located to the Magic Kingdom, it maintains that vibe of being tucked away which really creates a relaxing atmosphere.

It's so nice that your parents will be joining you in the Orlando area during your magical vacation.  Since they'll be so close, it's understandable that you'd like to have them over to visit at the Wilderness Lodge and such a bonus to have a babysitter so close so you can enjoy an adult evening sans kiddo.  Having guests visit is not an issue at all.  Just let a Cast Member at the front desk know you'll be expecting company and you can add their names to your room as "visitors."  You can even arrange for a key to be left for them in case you're not around when they arrive!  Listing them as "day guests" on your reservation, will also insure the Cast Members at the resort entrance gates are aware they are visiting, which will allow them entry and parking at the Wilderness Lodge!
