Staying at the Wilderness Lodge in late Sept. w/my mom and 3yo daughter. What is the easier way of getting to Epcot, taking a boat to MK then transferring to monorail or taking the bus from WL to Epcot? I hear the buses are very slow at WL.

    Hi Debra,

You are going to have a great time at the Wilderness Lodge with your mom & daughter!  It's a beautiful resort, and it's so easy to get to the Magic Kingdom from there.

I am probably the most impatient person when it comes to waiting for buses, and the bus I'm waiting for is usually the last one to arrive.  Despite having said that, I still think that waiting for the bus is an easier AND quicker way to get to Epcot.

To do the boat/monorail trip, you'll have to wait for the boat, take the boat ride, walk to the monorail, wait for the monorail, ride the monorail to the Transportation & Ticket Center, then transfer to the Epcot monorail before reaching your destination.  It can be a fun trip, especially if you view the monorail as an attraction, but it's not the most efficient.

Even if you end up waiting 30 at Wilderness Lodge, you'll still get there quicker by riding the bus.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!
