Staying at Wilderness Lodge in Feb 09. Read in many guide books that WL has activities for kids, but can't find any description of activities or what age the activities are for. I have two boys that will be 20 mos and 3 1/2 at time of trip. Any info?

    Lisa,

The Wilderness Lodge definitely offers some great activities for kids.  I suspect that the guidebooks don't list the activities because they change every day.  Most of the activities are listed as being "for all ages."  Your kids are young, so you'll have to be the final judge about the appropriateness of the activities for your kids.

I happen to have a list of the scheduled activities at the Wilderness Lodge from a few weeks ago (I visited for a tour).  I'll share a random day's schedule to help give you a flavor of the offerings:

    1-2 pm Water Basketball
2-3 pm "Magic Cookies Hour": Decorate your own cookie with sprinkles, icing, and a touch of magic
2:30-4 pm "Open Crafts & Games" at the Cub's Den [Although your kids are too young, Lisa, others may be interested to know that the Cub's Den offers child care/children's entertainment nightly from 4:30 to midnight for $11 per hour per child, for kids between the ages 4 & 12]
3-4 pm "Pool Party" Music with fun games and dancing for everyone at the Silver springs Pool
5-6 pm "Bingo" ($1 per card, prizes awarded to winners)
9:35 "Electrical Water Pageant" Come to the beach to enjoy the nightly Pageant presented on Bay Lake

Hopefully that provides you with a better idea about the types of activities offered at the Wilderness Lodge.  ºoº
