We'll be staying for a week in October at the Yacht Club. We have Fast Pass with the park hopper. Why can't I make reservations for more than one park for the day?

Hi, Edward! I love the new FastPass+ system as it has totally changed the way we tour the parks. No more running ahead of my family to grab more FastPasses. I had so many instances where I would be worn out from running to the other side of the park while my husband hopped on an attraction with our daughters. Now, I can schedule our FastPass+ selections before we even arrive and I no longer have to miss out on any of the thrills and laughter of our fun day.

The way the FastPass+ system works is that all Guests are able to make three initial FastPass+ selections at a single park for each day that they hold theme park tickets. Once those initial three FastPass+ selections have been used, then additional ones can be made at an in-park kiosk one at a time, subject to availability. Since you do have Park Hopper tickets, you will have the option to make more FastPass+ selections at another park. However, you will need to hop to your next park first to utilize that park's kiosk. Recently, I spent the morning at Magic Kingdom Park with one of my daughters, where I had made several FastPass+ selections ahead of time. We used our Park Hopper tickets to head to Animal Kingdom Park that afternoon, where we used the FastPass+ kiosk at that park to snag a set for Kilimanjaro Safaris and later, another one for DINOSAUR.

You could also choose to make your FastPass+ selections for the second park you plan to visit, rather than the first. I recently found this helpful when we visited Animal Kingdom Park early one morning, where I found the regular queue waits to be very manageable, and then hopped to Epcot. If I had used our FastPass+ selections that morning, then we would have missed out on scoring a FastPass+ window for Soarin', which had already concluded offering FastPass+ selections for the day.

Edward, I hope these FastPass+ tips help you while planning your days at Walt Disney World Resort. Please stop by again if you have any further questions.
