If we are staying at a WDW resort hotel for 3 of the 5 days that we have park tickets, will we be able to use our magic bands for the two days that we are not checked into a WDW hotel?

    Hello Katie!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with an excellent question!

You must be very excited about planning your upcoming magical adventure at the Walt Disney World Resort! As a Guest at a Disney Resort you will get to enjoy several great benefits and will receive your very own personalized MagicBand.

Your MagicBand will be the key to your room, will hold your park admission tickets and FastPass+ selections, and can even be used to pay for food, merchandise and services throughout the Walt Disney World Resort among other special functions.

Your park admission tickets will be linked to your MagicBand and you will have 14 days to use all your days after your first use. This means that even if you stay for 3 nights only, you will still be able to use your MagicBand to enter the theme parks. You can even use your MagicBand in the future to visit the parks even if you don’t stay at a Disney Resort hotel. All you have to do is purchase admission tickets and make sure that your MagicBand is active.

I hope this helps you while planning, Katie! Please stop by real soon if you have additional questions.

    Best magical wishes,
