I am staying at a WDW Good Neighbor Hotel in June 2018. Will I still get MagicBands or will I need to buy them online? If I have to buy them online will I still be able to link them to MyDisneyEperince account, FP+, and park tickets that I’ve purchased?

    Hi Tesha!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. The Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotels are a great way to enjoy a trip to visit Mickey with some awesome benefits! Unfortunately, Guests staying at one of the Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotels do not receive complimentary MagicBands as part of their hotel reservation. However, you can still purchase a MagicBand to use during your trip, which will make your vacation so much more convenient! It is so nice that everyone in my family can wear his or her own MagicBand so I don't have to keep track of ticket admission cards all day.

My Disney Experience is a big part of the magic behind your MagicBands. Whether you receive complimentary MagicBands with a Disney Resort hotel reservation or you purchase your MagicBands, you will link them to your My Disney Experience account. Once they are linked, then touching your MagicBand to Mickey touch points will give you access to the theme park tickets, FastPass+ reservations and Memory Maker entitlement linked your account. Be sure to download the My Disney Experience Mobile App as it's a great way to keep track of all of your FastPass+ reservations during your trip and will even allow you to link a new MagicBand right from your smartphone!

Be sure to take a look at some of the awesome graphic MagicBands available for purchase as that's a great way to customize each person's MagicBand. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
