Staying at the 2Br villa at Boulder Ridge Villas at the DWL. Do the kitchens have pots, pans, ladles, plates, bowls & utensils? Do the bathrooms have stools for the little ones to stand on to access the sink? Thank you!

    Well howdy, Deeptha!

It sounds like you will be headed soon to my favorite resort on the planet - Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. It is a northwest-themed paradise just minutes away from Magic Kingdom Park. You and your family are in for a real treat. I'm so excited for you!

Not long ago, I celebrated my fortieth birthday in a two-bedroom villa at Boulder Ridge Villas. There were seven of us staying there and we had so much space. We also had a wonderfully stocked kitchen with pots, pans, plates, mugs, glasses, bowls and silverware. I don't remember there being a ladle in the drawer, but we didn't find ourselves wanting for serving pieces.

There are, however, no stools for little ones in the bathrooms. If you are traveling with a small child who needs a stool to access the sink, consider flipping a lightweight stool upside down in your suitcase and bring it with you. If the top of the stool is flush with the bottom of a deep suitcase as it stands open on the floor, it will take up virtually no space. You can fill the inside of the stool with clothes so that no packing space is lost.

Be sure to take your little one over to explore the new splash and play area at Copper Creek Springs Pool during your visit. And don't hesitate to post additional questions to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if there's anything else you'd like to know about the magnificent resort you will call home during your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

Wishing you and your family many magical memories,
    Jill
