We are staying at the All Star Sports Resort and my son-in-law only eats Asian food, is there any Asian food offered at this resort?

    Hi Gwendolyn!

I like to say that Walt Disney World Resort is quickly becoming known as an Eat park. Disney offers everything from visual and palate pleasing culinary delights to the latest in food trends. You'll also find culturally accurate dishes from around the world without the price of jet lag. I don't see anything on the Asian food spectrum listed on the menu of Disney's All-Star Sports Resort Quick-Service dining location, the Intermission Food Court. However, in my experience, there are usually a few more options offered once you actually get to the resort that aren't listed online.

I do have a few ideas:
~Guests can ship items to their Disney Resort Hotel prior to their arrival for a handling fee of $5 per package. If you send some shelf-stable favorites ahead of time, your son-in-law can prepare a meal in the self-service area of the Intermission Food Court. (This area has microwaves, toasters, and always-hot water from the red spigot on the coffee machine.)

~Disney's three All-Star Sports Resorts are within walking distance of each other, and it looks like Sunday night is Asian Night at All-Star Movie's World Premier Food Court! And bonus, your Refillable Drink Mug will work there too!

~The Mitsukoshi Department Store in Epcot's Japan Pavilion has a whole section of Japanese beverages and snacks that would be fun to take back to your room.

~Here is a list of all locations where you'll find Asian dishes year-round.

~And for a fun twist, check out the pacific island dishes at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. (Kona Cafe, Capt. Cooks, and Ohana are my favs.)

We'll See You Real Soon, Gwendolyn!
