We will be staying at the all star sports resort and going to all 4 parks during our stay. How long it takes to get to and from each park using the bus service. We are trying to plan our "nap times". Would it be better to drive ourselves?

    Hi there, Annie!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Nap times are a sacred activity for me, my toddlers, and husband while on a Disney vacation! Without a nap, we get a cranky before the fireworks begin!

Traveling from DIsney's All Star Sports Resort to any of the theme parks and back, can be take some time. The week that you are traveling to Disney should be pretty moderate and crowds are typically low.  Depending on the time of day, you could wait up to 30-45 minutes or longer for a bus to get you back to your resort. I would suggest to leave the theme park between 11am and 11:30am to arrive at your resort in time for an afternoon slumber. Many families have the same idea about returning to their resort for some rest and relaxation, so beating the crowds to the bus stop is key.

Using your car will be a much faster option. As a Walt Disney World Resort guest, parking at the theme parks and resorts is complimentary. Having access to your car will give you the opportunity to stay a bit longer in the theme parks and not worry about crowds or long bus stop waiting.

I hope this helps you! If you have more questions before you depart or while you are on vacation, please visit with us again soon!

    Happy planning!
