We are staying at All Star Sports in a few months. If traveling to the parks with a double stroller (City Mini Double), where does it get stowed on the bus from resort to park?

    Hi Jennifer,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. Having a stroller in the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks makes life so much easier, not only because it gives our little Mouseketeers a place to rest tired feet and be sheltered from the sun, but also because it’s a great place to store extra gear.

When you ride Walt Disney World Resort bus transportation, you will be required to fold your double stroller and bring it on board the bus with you. This can be tricky when you have sleeping kiddos, or if, like me, you store a zillion little things underneath and find it nearly impossible to fold the stroller. The bus driver will ask you to fold the stroller and then hold it securely and keep it out of the aisle (as much as you possibly can). I find people are usually pretty great about noticing when a fellow Guest is juggling strollers, children, and gear, and they often offer up seats and make room. I don’t know if it’s Cinderella’s kindness message or extra pixie dust, but I love seeing the ways people smile and help each other out at Disney.

Jennifer, my advice for bringing a stroller to Walt Disney World is to try to keep your gear together as much as possible. I keep a backpack or tote bag under the stroller and try to keep items organized in separate pockets – autograph books and pens in a large Ziploc bag, another Ziploc for sunscreen, and a pouch just for sweatshirts and hats. It makes it much easier to go through security, and you’re not as likely to lose smaller items that can fall out of the stroller, especially when transferring to your Disney bus. Another fun idea is to decorate your stroller with a brightly colored ribbon or a fun sign so it’s easy to spot it in Stroller Parking.

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
