Contemporary Resort Pool

If I am staying at an all star resort and we do Chef Mickey at the contemporary, can we use the contemporary pool after we finish breakfast.

Hey, Jennifer. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

You are going to have such a fun morning dining at Chef Mickey's. It's a wonderful breakfast buffet and the characters make it that much more special. Plus, I love watching the monorail whiz by. I'm so excited for you. The pools at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, like Disney's Contemporary Resort, are only for Guests staying at that particular Resort Hotel. So, in general, you aren't able to necessarily "pool hop" at a different resort than the one you are staying at. There is an exception to this rule, however. If you're interested, Disney's Contemporary Resort and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa offer Cabana Rentals to any Guest of the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels. Renting a cabana would be the only way for you to enjoy the pool at Disney's Contemporary Resort.

At Disney's Contemporary Resort the cabanas are furnished with:
    • Padded furniture, including chairs and couch
    • Ceiling fan
    • Bluetooth speaker
    • Television with cable service
    • Phone for internal Resort calls
    • Fruit tray
    • Mini refrigerator stocked with complimentary sodas and water
    • Complimentary skincare products
    • Safe
Cabanas can be rented for a half day or full day of fun in the sun. Advance reservations are highly encouraged and can be made by calling the number found on the cabana rental page, linked for you.

That sounds like a pretty fun day to me! I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, please come back and ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
