We are staying at the All - Star Music resort. Will they have ice machines available to use?

    Hiya Barb,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I see your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just a few weeks away – and, well, that is just music to my ears!

I’ve got a happy song to sing for you: there are absolutely ice machines located on every floor, and in every building, at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort. You’ll usually find the ice machines located close to the elevator, and you’ll also find an ice bucket and plastic bags for the ice in your resort hotel room. It’s perfect, because, as Olaf might sing, “just imagine how much cooler you’ll be in summer” with easy access to those magically refreshing ice cubes!

Barb, if you’re hoping to use the ice in a cooler in the theme parks, be sure to take a look at the Walt Disney World Resort Park Rules to ensure your cooler meets the size requirements. Also, note that loose ice is not permitted in the theme parks (unless in a water bottle). I always pack resealable bags – they have lots of great uses, from keeping sunscreen from leaking all over my backpack to holding those ice cubes in the cooler to holding snacks for my Mouseketeers. My son is obsessed with colorful Disney lollipops, and I always have a baggie on hand for when it’s time to cut him off from the sugar rush!

Enjoy your stay at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort! This resort is so much fun to explore, with colorful icons and an amazing resort soundtrack. The Intermission Food Court is famous for having amazing cupcake options, so be sure to take a spin by the bakery section to see what sound-sational treats might await you!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
