We are staying at the All Star Movies Resort and are wondering if it is worth our time to go back to our resort each day to rest and use the pool. We don't want to spend too much time on the shuttle to the parks and back. What do you recommend?

Hi Amy, The "is it worth it" question depends a bit on your personality and stamina. If you are an extremely energetic person, then you may be able to handle a full day in the parks without a break. But I can tell you that a WDW vacation can be VERY tiring, particularly if you're traveling during the summer when the hot weather can be intense. Personally, I always have a much better time at WDW if I take a mid day break. The good news is that you don't have to decide now. See how it feels when you're at the parks. If you get tired or cranky, then head back to the hotel to cool down. If you're doing fine, then stay at the parks. Or, if you're looking for a happy medium, try visiting a nearby resort for a relaxing table service lunch. For example, if you're spending the day at the Magic Kingdom, take the monorail over to the Kona Cafe at the Polynesian for a meal. This may be enough to reenergize you for the rest of the day. Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if we can provide additional assistance.
