We are staying on site and tried for FastPasses at 12 AM, 60 days before our arrival but most of the Best FastPasses were not available. Do they keep a certain percentage back for the 30 day deadline and for the day of the FP? Or are they just all gone?

    Kristee:

I just made FastPass+ selections for my upcoming vacation and found some of the most popular attractions already devoid of FP+. The more I asked some of my fellow Moms on the panel what their experience was when booking FP+, I found that guests who have resort reservations can make their FP+ selections well into their vacation window. So, for example, if enough guests book FP+ selections for their third or fourth day of THEIR vacation, which is your FIRST day of vacation, a popular attraction can have all of its FP+ slots already booked.

The optimum strategy to give you the best chance at the more popular attractions, though, doesn't mean you must plan on a 10-day vacation, but you can also plan on visiting those parks (Disney Hollywood Studios for Toy Story and Magic Kingdom for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and the Anna & Elsa Meet and Greet) toward the end of your trip. That way, you are actually not booking your FP+ at 60 days out but up to 70 days out and have a better chance for your favorites.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
