Staying at Saratoga Springs. Wondering if u can suggest a nice area (newly updated if possible) that would have a fareway or water view and not a preferred location. We will be in a deluxe studio category. Thank you!!

Hi Lisa, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

You have picked a fantastic Resort for your stay in the New Year! Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is one of my family’s most frequented Resort. We love the genteel, laid-back vibe as well as the proximity to Disney Springs. You are a short walk away from fantastic entertainment, dining, and shopping!

I looked at the online map for your Resort, and it seems like a room in The Paddock, or The Grandstand is ideal for you. We stayed in Building 12 (in an odd-numbered Villa) in The Paddock and had a fantastic water view, and were close to bus transportation. You are also about a 10-minute walk away from Disney Springs. The Grandstand is on the golf course, and you can’t go wrong with any of their views! It looks like Building 15 is closest to the bus stop and the pool.

You can make room requests when you check-in online or on the My Disney Experience app. In general, the higher the room, the better the view. The last time we stayed at the Resort our available options were proximity to transportation and floor level, so you might want to call Reservations at (407) 939-1936 to make your location request over the phone. Remember though; a request is just that, a request. The Cast Members will do their best to honor your wishes, but room location is not guaranteed.

Lisa, if you have any other questions, you know where to find us! May all your vacation planning dreams come true!
