We are staying at the Saratoga Springs resort in less then 1 week. Traveling with a 3 1/2 year old & a 1 year old. Does it take long to get back to the resort from the parks if the kids get tired for a nap & are there taxis as a quicker option?

    Hi Faith,

Saratoga Springs is a beautiful resort that's great for families.  It's grounds are absolutely spectacular and the main pool area is amazing!  We've stayed at Saratoga a number of times, and found transportation to be efficient and reliable.  I even stayed there once with both of my kids alone, and had no trouble using Disney Transportation to get back for naps, swim breaks, etc.  Like every resort, waits for the buses can be up to twenty minutes depending upon when you get to the stop.  In my experience, in many cases it's much shorter.  Taxis are available at all of the theme parks and water parks (there's a designated taxi queue at each) should you chose to "cab" it back to Saratoga, but I honestly don't think it's necessary.

    Have a wonderful vacation!

PS - Saratoga Springs is located right across the water from Downtown Disney, and has a convenient ferry boat that transports guests "Downtown" and back.  Since you are so close, I highly recommend taking a trip to check out some of the great shopping and dining options.  Your little ones will probably love either Rainforest Cafe or the new TRex Restaurants!
