Staying at Saratoga Springs. How long is the ride from Saratoga Springs to Disney Springs? Hollywood Studios? Trying to plan fast passes and meals and need to know how much time to budget in between

    Hi Michael,

Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is one of my family's "Home Resorts" with Disney Vacation Club. One of the top reasons that we enjoy that particular resort is the close proximity to Disney Springs. However, the Villas are in multiple sections, and some of them are located further away from Disney Springs than others. If you are in either Congress Park or The Springs section, which are considered "Preferred locations", you will be in walking distance from Disney Springs. There are also boats and buses which depart to Disney Springs from the resort. If you happen to be located in one of the sections which are further away, you can hop on a bus to get there.

Without knowing if you will have a car to use or if you are planning on utilizing Disney buses, I will give you travel information for both scenarios. If you are driving to Disney Springs, you can get to the parking garage in less than 5-minutes. Disney's Hollywood Studios is approximately 15-minutes away from Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa (with light traffic). Keep in mind that you will then need to park in the lot and take the parking tram to the front of the park, so add about 10-minutes for that process too. If you are using Disney buses, the travel time is the same. However, the "wild card" in this scenario is the buses. You may have just missed a bus headed to the park when you get to the bus stop, or one might be coming around the bend. The buses come approximately every 20 minutes, so to be safe, I would add 20 minutes to the travel time.

    Wishing you magical memories,
