we are staying at the resort and I was wondering if each child's magic band could be linked to the credit card but with a spending limit.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Brittany! MagicBands are one of my favorite parts of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, because it’s not only convenient and accessible, but I get to take it home and remember all my good times!

You may have already ordered and personalized your MagicBands via My Disney Experience, and may already have them in hand, but as you don them and begin your vacation, you’ll want to do a few more things with them before you hit the parks! Even though you may have checked in via Online Resort Check In, you’ll want to head to the front desk as you step off Disney’s Magical Express. Here, you’ll be able to set spending limits for individual MagicBands with the help of a Cast Member, and have each person set their own pin number, if needed. Those spending limits are a “total spending” and not an auto-refreshing “daily” amount, so you’ll need to visit the front desk each night or morning to re-set them, if you want a daily limit for your kids. It’s a fun way to teach spending and allow them to feel in control!

I hope you enjoy all the perks of staying on property, from the incredible themed pools, to complimentary transportation, the ease of MagicBands and the awesome service which provides lots of magic! Make sure you accessorize your MagicBands with Bandits, slides and other fun decorations available online and in the Shop Disney Parks App. If you have any more questions, please stop back… after all, you’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
