When staying at a resort hotel, is parking at the hotel and the theme parks free?

    Hi Jami,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is coming up so soon, and I know just how excited you are. Have fun dreaming and making all those last minute plans – my favorite part is packing, when I get to coordinate all my Disney t-shirts with my Minnie ears!

Jami, if you are staying at an on-site Walt Disney World Resort hotel, your standard self-parking in the theme parks is complimentary. When you pull up to the parking booth, a Cast Member will scan your MagicBand, see that you are an on-site Guest, and wave you through with magical wishes.

As a resort Guest, there is a daily parking fee. You can see rates and details on the Parking web page. Please note that if you made your reservation prior to March 21, 2018, this parking fee will be waived; any reservations made on or after that date are subject to parking fees. Your parking fees will be added to your hotel folio and are payable upon checkout. As you pull into your resort for the first time, be sure you have your MagicBand with you so the security Cast Member can scan and see your reservation. I always bring them in my purse for our vacation, and we put them on as we arrive in Orlando to let the magic begin!

I hope that helps, Jami! Enjoy the anticipation of your upcoming visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, and please come back and see us if you have any further questions.

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
