Mom and Dad planning vacation

Since we are staying on property I understand we can make our dining reservations for the length of our stay once we hit 180 days from day 1. How do I know what the park hours will be for the length of our stay? It appears I can only see them 180 days out.

    Hi Ashley,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

As soon as you get close to the day to make your dining reservations, go to the park hours calendar and actually click on what appears to be a visible day near your arrival date. A five-day calendar should appear. I have found that I can often see additional park hours if I use the five-day calendar feature.

If the park hours still are not visible for your dates, just check the hours for a few weeks prior to your dates. I will check two weeks prior making sure I am looking at park hours for days similar to our travel dates. For example, if we are traveling Sunday through Saturday, I will check the prior week Sunday through Saturday. Doing so has given me a general guide although park hours for my actual dates could be slightly different. Typically, I focus on Extra Magic Hours. We love making pre-park opening dining reservations and prefer to do so when the park we plan to visit for that day does not have Extra Magic Hours.

Ashley, I trust you will have a blast making those advanced dining reservations. Those reservations serve as the anchor of our trip - once I make those, we are certain which parks we plan to do on each day of our visit. Remember to login to My Disney Experience prior to making those dining reservations. They should then automatically populate in your My Disney Experience account but, if not, you can add them manually by going to "My Reservation and Tickets" in My Disney Experience.

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
