I am staying at Port Orleans Riverside from 5/30-6/3, I'm confused about Extended Park Hours. HELP!

Hi MaryEllen.  Extra Magic Hours are a way for Disney resort guests only to enjoy the parks either an hour before they open or several hours after the regular closing time.  All guests  have to show resort room key identification and if it is the evening hours you would be given a wristband to wear.  These extra hours do not cost anything extra but instead a perk for being a resort guest.  It is a wonderful way to experience many of the popular rides and attractions without the long lines during the day.  Each park will usually have some sort of Extra Magic Hours during a week whether it be early or late.  You can see these times offered for each park on the calendar on the Disney website, www.disneyworld.com.

Since you are a Disney resort guest at Port Orleans Riverside you will simply need to take a Disney bus to get to the parks early.  Enjoy your stay at this wonderful resort!
