We are staying at Port Orleans Riverside. They now charge for parking per night at the resort but will we also have to pay for parking if we drive our car to each park? This used to be free for resort guests??

    Hi Jeremy!

I am so excited to hear that you will be staying at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside because it's the perfect place for your vacation "home"! I love this Disney Resort hotel because it has such a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Plus, you will have convenient access to Disney Springs using the convenient boat transportation. And be sure to visit Ol’ Man Island, one of the pools at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, because it's the perfect spot to spend a day in the water during your vacation!

You are correct that Disney Resort hotel Guests now pay a nightly parking fee when parking a car at their Disney Resort hotel during their stay. However, Disney Resort hotel Guests still receive complimentary parking at each of the theme parks, so you are free to drive your car to the theme parks as you like during your vacation without having to pay any additional parking fees!

Jeremy, there are so many incredible things that you will be able to enjoy during your summer vacation to Walt Disney World Resort! Be sure to head to Magic Kingdom so you can join in Mickey & Minnie's Surprise Celebration for their 90th birthday. Also, you will definitely want to visit Toy Story Land. There's nothing like shrinking to the size of a toy when you visit Andy's backyard to play with some of everyone's favorite toys! Finally, keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog as you finalize your plans to get the latest news and announcements.

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
