I am staying at the Port Orleans Riverside. I see that I will have to take a bus to get to any of the parks...will this be a direct route to the parks or do I need to take the monrail after departing the bus? How much time to plan for bus ride/monorail?

Hi, Amy! Yes, you will take a bus straight from your resort to each of the four theme parks, the two water parks, and Downtown Disney.  You will not have to get on the monorail like those driving themselves because the bus takes you straight to the gates of the Magic Kingdom. There is a great website for estimating transportation travel times around Walt Disney World Resort.  Visit the Our Laughing Place website and in the top right corner of the home page, you will see their Transportation Wizard.  It will help you figure out how much time to allow for getting around in Walt Disney World.  You just pick the beginning location and ending destination, and it will do the rest! Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
